Mary Ellen Fraser, 102, passed away May 27, 2023 in Fort Smith. She was born March 14, 1921, in Warren, AR to Lester Lyon and Grady (Barry) Lyon. She was a long-time member of First United Methodist Church, and she enjoyed, Knitting, reading, playing Bridge, and dancing.
Mary Ellen was preceded in death by her husband, John A. Fraser.
She is survived by three daughters, Kay Combs (Larry) of Fort Smith, Judy Owens of Fort Smith, and Adair Smith (Cleburn) of Plano, TX; nine grandsons; twenty-four great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild, and one on the way.
Funeral Service will be 11:00 AM Friday, June 2, 2023, in Roebuck Chapel at First United Methodist Church, with burial to follow at Forest Park Cemetery, under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
Visitation will be Thursday, June 1, 2023, from 5 – 7 PM at Edwards Funeral Home.
