Mary Frances Eversole

Mary Frances Eversole, 92, of Fort Smith, died February 6, 2012 in Fort Smith. She was born January 12, 1920 in Bertrand, MO the daughter of Jake and Fanny Golightly DuVall. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. After retiring from Whirlpool Corporation of Fort Smith she was involved in many volunteer activities locally to include the Eye Clinic, The Clearing House, Fort Smith Public Grade Schools and the Good Samaritans. She was also a docent at Miss Laura’s Social Club, which currently serves as the Fort Smith Visitors Center and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. She was a long time member of the Central Presbyterian Church and was also a member of the Pilot Club, UCT, and the Retired Military Officers’ Wives Club.

She is survived by one son, Frank Eversole & his wife Tamar of South Carolina; two daughters, Suzanne Muncrief and her husband Greg of Kentucky and Mary DeGraw & her husband Russ of Fort Smith; eight grandchildren, Christopher Eversole, Kimberly Eversole, Lindsay Ament, Daniel Eversole, Sarah Lamproe, Jeremy Nash, Crystal DeGraw and Rosie DeGraw; and seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Frank Rutledge Eversole, Jr. and grandson Jason Muncrief.

Funeral service will be Monday, February 13, 2012 at 12:00 Noon in the Central Presbyterian Church with burial to follow in the U.S. National Cemetery all under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons.

The family will greet friends Sunday from 5-7 PM at Edwards Funeral Home.

The family would like to Thank the administration, medical personnel and staff at Ashton Place, Barling, AR for their exceptional care and personal involvement with her while she was a resident at their facility.
