Linda Branch Brown

Linda Branch Brown, 68, of Fort Smith, died February 25, 2012 in Fort Smith. She was born August 31, 1943 in Greenville, Alabama to Hillary Guy and Callie Elizabeth Austin Branch. She was a retired Para Professional for the Fort Smith Public School System, a member of the Goddard United Methodist Church where she was active in the Adventurers Sunday School Class, the United Methodist Women’s Circle #3. She was also a member of the River Valley Model “A” Club.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Joseph Brown of Fort Smith; two sons, Terry and wife Kathryn Brown of Wilson, North Carolina and Marc and wife Robin Brown of Kennesaw, GA; and five grandchildren, Caitlin Noel, Ashton McLane, Caleb Austin, Shelby Grace, and Perrin Elizabeth Brown.

Memorial service will be Tuesday, February 28, 2012 at 11:00 AM in the Goddard United Methodist Church. Burial will be later in the week in Greenville, Alabama under the direction of Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home and local arrangements are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.

The family will greet friends at Goddard United Methodist Church following the Memorial Service.
