LeRoy Ragsdale

LeRoy Ragsdale, 88 of Fort Smith, AR died Tuesday, September 6, 2011 in a local nursing home. He owned and operated modern electronics in Fort Smith for over 30 years and served 2 terms as President of the National Electronic Service Dealers Association. He was inducted into the Electronics Industry Hall of Fame and again later the Second Wind Hall of Fame. He was of the Church of Christ faith.

Cremation is under the direction of Fentress Mortuary. There will be a private family graveside burial of the cremains at Oak Cemetery.

He is survived by two daughters: Jeanne Wright of Fort Smith and Karen Fleming and her husband Jerry also of Fort Smith; one son Joe Ragsdale and his wife Kathie of Fort Smith; two grandchildren Trisha Ragsdale of Fort Smith and Kevin Wright of Baton Rouge, LA; also one great grandson, Nicholas Ragsdale of Fort Smith.

He was preceded in death by his wife Betty Ragsdale, his granddaughter Stephanie Wright, and his grandson Joey Ragsdale.
