Josh was born in Fort Smith, AR. He attended Immaculate Conception, Trinity Junior High, Southside High School, and the University of Arkansas Fayetteville. He was employed at River Valley Relief Cultivation.
Josh grew up playing football, just as his father and brothers did. He played defensive end from a young age and eventually played D-Line for the final “Rebels” class at Southside High School. Josh enjoyed nature and loved animals. Other hobbies include; playing the piano, Xbox, hitting golf balls, and working in his yard. He was most proud of his family which includes his work family at RVR.
Josh was preceded in death by his beloved mother and grandmother, Toni Whitt and Liz Hooper. He is survived by his father - Joseph Hooper; brothers - Storm Nolan and Brandon Weeks, Kane and Judy Whitt and Greyson Hooper; sisters - Jenna, Kandis and Bella Hooper; nieces - Payton Christoffersen, Olivia and Abigail Whitt; nephews - Cole and Jaden Hooper; godfather Chris Whitt. One beautiful chocolate lab Nykah, several fish, thousands of clones and many, many friends.

Visitation will be Friday, April 26, 2024, from 5 – 7 PM at Edwards Funeral Home.
Funeral Service will be 11 AM Saturday at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Oak Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: Parker Rosenberg, Ian Hattabaugh, Shay Horton, Brandon Pham, Evan Simpson, and Trey Myers.
