Glen "Buddy" Estes Jones Sr.

Glen (Buddy) Estes Jones, Sr., 79, of Mansfield, AR passed away Thursday, January 1, 2015, in Fort Smith. He was born February 5, 1935 in Fort Smith, AR. He was a retired Owner/Operator of Mountain Valley Products Inc. He was a member of Northside United Pentecostal Church and a member of the Gold Wing Road Riders Association. He served in the Army National Guard. He was preceded in death by his parents Luther and Emily Jones.

Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Monday at Northiside United Pentecostal Church at 3700 Kelley Hwy. in Fort Smith, AR with burial at Barling Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home in Fort Smith, AR.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years Janett Laverne Jones, one daughter Sandi Hawkins and husband Larry of Quitman, AR, two sons Glenn Estes Jones, Jr. and wife Rhonda of Greenwood, AR and Luther D. Jones II and wife Donna of Greenwood, AR, one sister Helen Austin of Broomfield, CO, seven grandchildren Glenn Jones III, Nikki Pickett, Sarah Liles, Leah Nalley, Stephanie Brewer, Seth Hawkins and Eimily Beam and eight great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Seth Hawkins, Glenn Jones III, Ron Patrick, Wendell Mastin, Gary Kindy, Jr. and Ben Bailey. Honorary pallbearers will be Pete Powell, Wayne Langley, Al Moody and Richard Newton.

The family will visit with friends Sunday afternoon from 2:00 PM-4:00 PM at Edwards Funeral Home.

Glen enjoyed working, spending time with his children, grandchildren and traveling the country on a Honda Gold Wing with his lifelong soul mate. He will be missed by many.
