Frank P. Dyke

Frank P. Dyke, 65, of Muldrow, passed from this life May 9, 2019 in Fort Smith. He was born August 12, 1953 in Fort Smith to Frank P. Dyke, Sr. and Ann Vise Dyke. Frank was a graduate of St. Anne’s Academy and furthered his education through John Brown University, Indiana Wesleyan University, as well as the University of Cincinnati. Frank was the Assistant Area Manager, Area 5 for the Arkansas Community Correction. He also taught Criminal Justice at the University of Arkansas Fort Smith.

Aside from being a man of many achievements and talents, Frank always had a huge heart for family and friends. He would tell stories of his beloved Basset Hound, Pearl, the ferocious guard dog. He enjoyed sharing his Grill Master cooking skills with everyone, be it rain snow or blistering heat. Always the handyman, he never feared a project big or small, nor the dangers of losing a digit. The man we will remember put a smile on our faces with his witty jokes and endless puns.

Frank is survived by his wife, Cheryl; his son and daughter-in-law, Eric and Vicky Dyke of Mountainburg; his daughter and her fiancé, Jodie Kennedy and Danny Barnes of Fort Smith; three grandchildren, Alexis Kennedy and Danaya and Charley Barnes; his mother, Ann White of California; sister, Diane Williams of California; as well as his brother and sister-in-law, Steve and Michi Dyke of Muskogee, Oklahoma.
