Ella Mae Featherston

Ella Mae Featherston, 80, of Fort Smith, AR, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday March 25, 2010. She was born May 21, 1929 in Van Buren, AR to the late John and Jewell Ingram Lynn. She was a housewife and a founding member and current member of Victory Temple Church.

Funeral service will be 10 AM Monday, March 29, 2010, at Victory Temple Church with Pastor Gary Brown and Rev. George Lynn officiating. Burial will be at Woodlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.

She is survived by her husband Herbert T. Featherston, five children Barbara Davidson of Rogers, AR, Glenn Featherston and wife Diannah of Edmond, OK, Susie Odom and husband Larry of Poteau, OK, Gary Featherston and wife Linda of Mansfield, TX and Sharon Jennings and husband Dave of Fort Smith, AR, two sisters Mary Holmes and husband Don of Fort Smith, AR and Janette Rainwater of Fort Smith, AR, one brother Rev. George Lynn and wife Marlene of Van Buren, AR, six grandchildren Audra Shay and husband John, , Shawn Sigler, Michael Odom and wife Valerie, , Chris Odom and wife Debra, Todd Featherston and wife Sally and Kelly Aiken and husband John, nine great grandchildren, four step-grandchildren Jennifer Knight, Darrel Hood, Brian Hood and Dillon Jennings and seven step-great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Mike Odom, Chris Odom, Shawn Sigler, Todd Featherston, John Aiken and Caleb Howell. Honorary pallbearers will be Ken Jumper, Dave Newton, Bobby Woodrome, Jim Coles, Steve Craine, Vince Gassman and Archie Stafford.

The family will visit with friends Sunday afternoon, March 28, 2010, from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM at Edwards Funeral Home.
