Rest in peace my "ANGEL", you were always the greatest mother to me, even though you did not give birth to me. I LOVE YOU SO MUCH, and I am truly going to miss you. A part of me died on October 10th when you passed away!

I will always remember my Aunt Dorothy as a matriarch of the Cole family. She lived a wonderful life and was loved by many. She will truly be missed!

I knew Miss Dorothy's sister, Barbara, a little better but I had the privilege of meeting Miss Dorothy a few years ago. I could tell then that she was a treasure and I am sure she was a force that the devil sure wouldn't mess with! She seemed like a wonderful lady and while I am sorry for your loss here on earth, I know she is dancing in heaven! Praying for strength and comfort for all of you.

We grew up on the south side, we all knew each other’s families, it was a village I would describe it, you will be missed, but always remembered.  I remember Mrs. Hinkle as one of the ushers at Church on the south side, may the Hinkle family find strength during this time, from the most high, friends and family.

I'm going to truly miss my beloved sister-n-law, our talks and you being an inspiration for me on many days. Until we meet again.

My condolences to the family.  Mrs. Hinkle was always a pleasure to be around. Prayers for strength and comfort. 

I remember my Aunt Dorothy as a very loving and caring woman was always smiling never met a stranger. Proud to call her my Aunt. To my family condolences and prayers for us all missed but never forgotten rest in heaven Auntie with your parents, brothers, sisters, husband and son. Love you forever. 

I will never forget momma and me coming over to visit you and watching you two sisters laughing and chatting like a couple of teenage girls.  Well now you two can sit as long as you want and chat. You will be incredibly missed because you were so incredibly loved.  May God wrap his arms around the family at this time.  Rest In Peace sweet Aunty rest in peace.

Condolences to the family. Mrs Hinkle was a true woman of God abd waa lived by so many. I remember when my children were very young and i found myself walking by her home on many occasions. She would always invite us in and offered a cold drink and some dessert she had made. I always felt welcome. Her memory will live on in all of hearts. Look to God who is our constant help and friend to all who call on upon him. Minister Janet Whitfield  

Mother Dorothy Hinkle will be missed immeasurably. She has been like a Mother to me for longer than I can remember. She referred to me and my brothers as "My Boys", a designation we proudly wear.
