Billy Gene Jacobs, 74, passed from this life December 26, 2024. He was born March 10, 1950 in Commerce, MO. He was a Vietnam Veteran who served more than 22 years in the United States Army and National Guard. After retiring from Military Service, he then worked in the transportation industry.
He is survived by his wife, Betsy Jacobs, two daughters, Shannon Reichwald and Jennifer Merkle, both of Germany; his stepson, James Harmon; his siblings, Lois Moon, Lester Garrett, Jim Jacobs and Betty Stone; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Graveside services at Fort Smith National Cemetery will be 11 AM Thursday, January 2, 2025.
