On the afternoon of June 2, 2016 Roger Bartlett "Bart" Crisp, 48, of Fort Smith passed of natural causes at his home. Bart was born February 17, 1968 in Jonesboro, Arkansas. He was the third child and second son of Charles Manford and Virginia Lou Wortham Crisp. Bart was a graduate of Jonesboro High School and Arkansas State University receiving a Bachelors Degree in Zoology. He was an active member of Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity, Delta Theta chapter. Bart's profession was pharmaceutical sales and he was employed by Knoll Pharmaceuticals, which later became Abbott Laboratories from 1996 to 2007 until his heath declined.
Bart was passionate in life and never met a stranger. He thoroughly enjoyed meeting and getting to know others. His favorite hobby was the great outdoors. From the time he was just a young boy, his skills as a hunter and fisherman flourished. Bart particularly enjoyed introducing others to the sports and helping them become successful.
As much as Bart loved to hunt and fish, his greatest joy was his children. He lived to spend time with them and surround them with love. He had dedicated his life to doing whatever he could whenever he could with his kids

Bart was preceded in death by his father, Charles Manford Crisp; maternal grandparents, Arnold Wortham, Charles and Ora Caul; paternal grandparents, Harold and Eileen Crisp.
He is survived by his mother, Virginia Crisp; son, Parker Charles Crisp and daughter, Genevieve Taylor Crisp. He is also survived by a brother, Dr. Charles Brant Crisp of Hackett, Arkansas and a sister, Kelly and her husband Dr. Lawrence Landwehr of Warrensburg, Missouri and nieces, Rachel Crisp, Lauren Landwehr, Lindsey Landwehr, Leah Landwehr and nephews, Luke Landwehr and Logan Jackson.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00am Thursday, June 9, 2016 at Christ the King Catholic Church, with burial following at Holy Cross Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 5:00 to 6:00pm Wednesday, June 8, 2016 in Edwards Funeral Home Chapel. Rosary will be said at 6:00pm, immediately following the visitation. Services are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
