Barbara Ann Bailey

Barbara Ann Bailey, 90, passed away on December 31, 2023 in Hackett, AR surrounded by her loved ones. She was born February 10,1933, in Fort Smith, AR to the late George and Mildred Orbaugh Nordin. She married Ronald Warren Bailey, Jr. on February 24, 1951. They were married 45 years. She was a devoted daughter, wife, mother, sister, grandmother, aunt and friend.

She loved people unconditionally and was a prayer warrior like no other. She had a beautiful alto voice and served the Lord through singing in church choirs, a gospel quartet and various church functions. She loved the Lord and lived her life to serve and bring honor and glory to Him.

She is preceded in death by her parents and a half brother, Michael Nordin, of Oklahoma City, OK. Survivors include one brother, Donald Nordin (Margaret) of Fort Smith, AR; four children, Sharon Martin (John) of Sherwood, AR, Steven Bailey (Penny) of Hackett, AR, Rhonda Wiseman (Dave) of Collinsville, OK, and Greg Bailey (Melinda) of Alma, AR; twelve grandchildren, twenty-four great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins that she loved and cared for deeply.

Pallbearers: Brandon Rogers, Bradley Rogers, Drew Frazier, Bryson Martin, Heath Frazier, Bailey Rogers, Grayson Bailey and Brad Martin.

The family will meet with friends and loved ones at Edwards Funeral Home on Friday, January 5 at 9:00 am with funeral service to follow at 10:00 am. Burial will be at Fort Smith National Cemetery.
