Arnold "Bud" Jones

Arnold “Bud” Jones, 83, of Fort Smith, passed away March 3, 2018. He was born October 28, 1934 in Redland, OK to Louis and Johnnie Black Jones. He was a retired employee of the City of Barling and member of the First Assembly of God Church of Barling.

He is survived by his wife, Nora of the home; four daughters, Darlene Jones of Liberty, OK, Patsy Brown of Roland, OK, Sherrill and husband Bernis Allen of Liberty, OK, and Jennifer Wofford of Fort Smith; three sons, Jimmy Jones of Lavaca, Robert Jones of Hackett, and Donald and wife Lorie Jones of Lavaca; eight grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at 10:00 AM in the Jenny Lind Community Building with burial to follow in Jenny Lind Cemetery all under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Robert Jones, Donald Jones, Jim Jones, Tom Stockard, Hunter Jones, Anthony Brown, Titus Crawford, and Bryson Jones.

The family will greet friends at Edwards Funeral Home on Tuesday evening from 5-7 PM.
