He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 45 years, Ruby; son, Jeremy; daughter, Crystal (Darcy); 5 grandchildren, Julian, Rori, Jackson, Wade and Ruby; 2 brothers, Terry (Ann), Leonard (Marla); 2 sisters, Edith and Darlene (Don); mother in law, Marge; 4 brothers in law, Glenn (Wendy), Rick (Laura), Lawrence (Shannon), Bryon (Michele); 2 sisters in law, Charlene (Steve) and Dianne; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Spencer is predeceased by his parents, Harold and Eva; brothers, Lawrence and Stanley; sisters, Gladys, Marilyn and Bonnie; father in law, Ralph; and brother in law, Ken.
Cremation has taken place and a service will be held later this summer at Quiet Nook Cemetery, Hamlin, Alberta. Date to be announced.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Alberta. The family wishes to send a special thank you to the EMT staff from Strathcona County, as well as the doctor’s and staff of the Fort Saskatchewan Hospital.
