Claudia C. Luikart

Claudia was Born on March 3, 1935 as the youngest of eleven children to Ada Meta (Simmons) and Felix Washington “Gub/Grub” Owens. She was a proud native of Vero Beach Florida of several generations. She leaves to cherish her memories her children, two sons Bruce Bramble (Sharon) of Ft Pierce FL, Curtis Bramble of Kansas City MO, and two daughters Kristal Ruley of Ft Pierce FL , Melanie Bullers (Jack) of Ft Pierce FL, thirteen grand children Shane Bramble, Angel Spicer, Misty Patterson, Amber Banks, Curtis Bramble Jr, Tamara Bramble, Charla Chadwick, Justine Bullers, Catherine Bramble, Cheyenne Anderson, Jack Bullers III, Kenadee Ruley, and Juliann Bullers twenty-seven great grand children, and six great great grandchildren. Claudia also leaves behind many beloved nieces and nephews that she held very dear to her heart. Also her special best friends in life Betty Agostini (Ralph) and Lillie McDaniel (Jo Eddie). Claudia is preceded in death by her adored husband Arley J Luikart, all of her sisters, Loca Black , Lorena Hazellief, Bernice Tillis, Annie Jones Ruth, Ruth Sparkman, Dorothy Smith, and all of her brothers, Frank Owens , Robert “Bobby” Owens, Felix “Shorty” Owens, John “Wallace” Owens.

Claudia had a dimpled smile that glowed for her entire life. Even in her last days, she found a bit of new sass and humor that we all absorbed with joy. She was proud to be a Vero Beach fighting Indian of class of 1953. She was a dedicated and loud fan of the Miami Marlins, Miami Dolphins, and KC Chiefs giving a thumbs up to every score in a game. Her lifetime adoration for classic country music, especially Kenny and Conway, was like no other. Her favorite days were spent in her own backyard surrounded by Gods beauty while watching the birds sing in the birdbath and encouraged all ages to appreciate and nurture the green and colorful world around them. To know her great love of these few simple things in her life was to love her even more. She said the other world would be divine, but she will be terribly missed here on earth.

A visitation for Claudia will be held Tuesday, May 23, 2023 from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM at Aycock Funeral Home, 6026 North US Highway 1, Fort Pierce, FL 34946. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, May 23, 2023 from 2:30 PM to 3:15 PM. And a graveside service will occur Tuesday, May 23, 2023 from 3:30 PM to 4:00 PM at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
