Thomas Leo Coleman passed away on Wednesday January 25th, 2017 in Fort Myers at the age of 99.
He was born April 5, 1917 in Beattyville, Arkansas. He moved to Fort Myers in 1923 and later retired from the Fort Myers Beach Mosquito Control after 35 years of service.
He is survived by his loving wife of 74 years, Dollie Irene Coleman; Son and Daughter-in-law, Lee & Gloria Coleman; Daughter and Son-in-law, Betty & Louis Shenefield; 8 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren.
Leo was an avid fisherman and was happiest on the water or working in his garden. He was an example of perseverance, strength and unconditional love for his family. Pop you will be missed and be forever in our hearts.
Visitation will be held at Hodges Funeral Home at Lee Memorial Park 12777 State Road 82, Fort Myers on Saturday, February 4th from 11:00-12:00. The funeral service will be at 12 pm. Interment will follow in Lee Memorial Park Cemetery. Info 239-334-4880
