Robert Speakman age 75, of North Fort Myers, FL passed away on April 6, 2022. Robert was born May, 15,1946 in Ontario Canada. In 1998, he and his family relocated to Fort Myers, Fl. He is survived by his 3 daughters. Kristin (Ryan) Buntrock, grandchildren Sarah, and Caleb, Ashley (Tim) Pate, grandchildren Lorelei, and Ivan, and Danielle (Dan) Speakman, grandchildren Elijah, Liam, Quinn, their mother Beverly Speakman and his girlfriend Doris of many years. Over his years he enjoyed weekend and summer getaways, boating, fishing and camping. Those that knew Bob, knew he had a love for Harley’s and taking his bike for day and weekend road trips. He spent many hours tending to his gardens where he more recently spent time raising and releasing butterflies. He was the biggest fan at his grandchildren’s baseball games, softball games, dance recitals and any other activities they were involved in. Bob could start a conversation with anyone and had never met a stranger. It’s because of Bob’s colorful personality and generous heart that he will forever be remembered by all whom knew him and loved him. A celebration of life will be held for Bob on Saturday April 9th at 10:00am at Hodges-Kiser Funeral Home, 9231 Cypress Lake Drive, Fort Myers with a lunch reception to follow at 9659 Gladiolus Preserve Circle, Fort Myers, FL.
