Linda Scott Jones, formerly of Pittsburgh, PA died Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2017 after a courageous battle with kidney disease in Sarasota, FL. Linda made a big difference in the lives of the people she touched, and she will be deeply missed by all. Linda had many varied interests, chief among them: Golf, Pittsburg Steelers, Mah Jong, Canasta, Bridge and the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. No local services are planned but the family suggests memorial contributions to honor her memory be made to Tidewell Hospice, 3355 26th Street West, Bradenton, FL 34205 or to Cat Depot, 2542 17th Street, Sarasota, FL 34234. Linda was the beloved wife of Richard I. Jones and loving sister of William Scott. She will be lovingly remembered for all the happiness and love she brought into the world.
