Leo P. Rice, 77 of Cape Coral, died Monday, August 16, 2010. A longtime resident of the area he was a member of St. Cecilia's Catholic Church. Survivng are his loving wife of 58 years, Grace, children, Christopher (June) Rice, James (Karen) Rice, Leanne (Joseph) Hopkins, Michael Rice, Mary (Kathy) Papp, Patrick (Carol) Rice and Richard (Marshan) Rice, 12 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, 2 brothers and one sister. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Helen Worley.
Friends may call at the Kiser Funeral Home, 9231 Cypress Lake Drive, Wednesday from 6-8 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 9:00 AM at St. Cecilia's Catholic Church. Interment will be private at Coral Ridge Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that memorials be made to Hope Hospice, 9470 HealthPark Circle, Fort Myers, Florida 33908.
