She was preceded in death by her parents Ramon Marrero and Paula Ortiz, her son Jose Luis “Little Joe” Berrios Jr. and her siblings: Victor Ramon Marrero, Juanita Marrero, Raul Marrero, Ángel Manuel Marrero, Félix Marrero and Silvia Marrero.
Laura “Mama” is survived by her husband, Jose Luis “Papa” Berrios Rivera; her children: Luis Ramon (Norma) Berrios and Anna Marie (Jerry) Thomas; her grandchildren: Rebecca, Luis Jr., Xavier and Noralis; her great grandchildren, Penelope and Emarelli and her brother, Pablo (Rosa Soto) Marrero Ortiz. As well as many loving family and friends.
Visitation will be held at Hodges Funeral Home at Lee Memorial Park 12777 State Road 82 in Fort Myers on Monday, December 12th from 5 to 8 pm. Visitation will be held at Funeraria Barranquitas Memorial at 5MMR+QR3, Barranquitas, Puerto Rico 00794 on Thursday, December 15 and burial services will be at
Cementerio Remanso de Paz at Barranquitas, Puerto Rico on Friday, December 16.
