Earl Eugene Price Sr.

Earl Eugene Price, Sr. age 84, of Lehigh Acres, FL passed away on June 24, 2019. He served in the US Air Force. Earl attended several colleges throughout his career such as, Triton College 1970 to 1971, Eastern Michigan University 1971 to 1973 and George Mason University 1974 to 1975.

After military service, his role became Assistant Chief in the Registrar Division, Chief Patients Control for the US Veterans Administration Hospital in Brecksville OH. Earl retired as Assistant Director for Headquarters Personnel Operations for the US Environmental Protection Agency in Washington, DC. Then Earl worked for Sallie Mae Student Loans as Supervisor in Skip Tracing/Manager of Collections in Reston, VA then in Lyndhurst, FL. He also worked for Bay County Supervisor of Elections. In his spare time, he loved cooking and fishing with the kids when they were youngsters.

Earl is predeceased by his mother, Katherine Smith Price and sister, Donna Price Fletcher. He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Jean Price; children, Cheryl Allen Brown, Katherine Marie Price, Crystal Earl Price, Earl Eugene Price, Jr and Eric David Price; Nine grandchildren; 17 Great grandchildren; sister, Okareta Henry; aunt, Barbara Jean Buffington and niece, Karen Fletcher.

A visitation will be held at Hodges Funeral Home at Lee Memorial Park, 12777 State Road 82, Ft Myers, FL 33913 on Saturday July 6th starting at 11am followed by funeral service at Noon. Burial at Lee Memorial Park Cemetery will immediately follow the service. Family and friends are also invited to a luncheon after burial. For information call 239-334-4880.
