Dorothy N. Leighton, age 78, of Punta Gorda, Florida and formerly of Cape Coral, Florida passed away Tuesday, March 25, 2025. She was born in New York on January 29, 1947.
Dorothy was a woman with great faith in Jesus.
She is survived by her son, Michael (Grace) Davitt and her granddaughter, Gia Davitt. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ed Leighton, her brother, Jospeh Gagliano and her parents: Joseph and Dorothy Gagliano.
Services will be private. Memorial contributions in her memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital at stjude.org.
