Alan David Nance, 52, of Cape Coral, FL and formerly of Spartanburg, SC, went to the Lord on Wednesday, January 31, 2018, at his home. Born March 24, 1965, in Pontiac, MI, he was the son of Arthur David Nance of Keego Harbor, MI and Betty Foster Powell of Woodruff, SC.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by daughters, Cortney D. Nance and Deanna N. Nance, both of Spartanburg, SC; two grandchildren, Jackson David and Ryleigh Marie; three sisters, Chrystal and Lorie of Ft. Myers, FL, twin sister, Alice of Woodruff, SC; and one brother, Marquis. He was predeceased by a brother, Tommy.
Visitation will be 1:00-1:45 PM Saturday, February 10, 2018, at Floyd’s Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307, with funeral services following at 2:00 PM, conducted by Chaplain Joseph Foster. Burial will be in Wood Memorial Park, 863 Gap Creek Rd., Duncan, SC 29334.
The family will receive friends at the home of Alan’s sister, Alice Thurber, following the service.
