Walter Nicholas Palhegyi

Walter was born March 12, 1936 in Chicago, IL to Nicholas and Ann Palhegyi.

He attended Chicago Vocational High School in Chicago, IL. He continued his education at Chicago City Community College in Chicago, IL. He served our country in the Navy until 1958. He was married on July 7, 1962 to Carol Palhegyi.

He enjoyed watching the Chicago Cubs and spending time on the water. He spent much of his time with his grandchildren in their adventures.

He is survived by his wife , Carol Palhegyi of Fort Lauderdale; children and their spouses, Raymond and Kelly Palhegyi, and Stacy and Cheryl Davis, Gasper and Jill LoMonaco, and Richard Palhegyi; grandchildren, RJ, KELSEY, and Brody Palhegyi, Wyatt and Logan Davis, Sebastian and Chase LoMonaco, and Dylan Palhegyi; sisters and their spouses, Balbo and June Restaino, and Mike Ysla and Diane Kish-Ysla; brother-in-law Reno Romani; sister-in-law, Sharon Dellinger; and several nephews and nieces.

He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Nicholas and Ann Palhegyi and his sister, Gloria Romani.
