Stanley was an extraordinary young man, full of life just beginning to flourish when he was taken from us due to an unforeseen tragedy on January 29, 2020, at the tender age of 21. Stanley was charismatic, charming, kind, loving, polite and respectful. He can brighten up any room he walked in with his smile alone. His passion for music was unwavering; always with headphones in his ears, free-styling and spending hours at the studio composing music.
In his songs he was consistently sending shout outs to his mother and brother. Stanley’s undeniable love for his family was everlasting and genuine. Although Stanley never visited Haiti, his pride for the Haitian culture was forever showcased by him wearing a Haitian bandanna. On May 26, 2019, Stanley accepted Jesus, as his Lord and Savior. He is now walking with his heavenly father.
He is survived by his Mother: Shela Desir; Father; J.C. Joseph; Brother: Jerry James Desir; Grandfather: Roland Joseph Desir; Grandmother: Larrieuse Desir; Aunts: Rachel Desir, Andrea Desir; Godmother/Aunt: Rose Roberts, Uncle/Godfather: Roland N. Desir; Uncles: Jack Nemorin, Reynald Desir; Cousins: Roland T. Desir III, Kenneth R. Desir, Rachelle Nelson, Mathieu Desir, Violette Desir and his childhood sweetheart: Isabel D.
Stanley was preceded in death by his Grandmother, Violette Augustin (2009).
Stanley will be dearly missed.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.forestlawnsouth.com for the Joseph Desir family.
