Robert Daniel Elliott

Robert Daniel Elliott was born on July 9, 1958 in Top Hill, Jamaica to Rupert Elliott and Leneive Graham. Robert and his twin sister were born on Leneive's birthday, but sadly his twin passed away five days later. Robert grew up in Top Hill, Jamaica where he attended Junction High School.

As a teenager, Robert met Patricia Anderson and on July 21, 1978 they welcomed their first child, Marlon Elliott. In 1981, Robert migrated to Florida and began a career in construction roofing. On January, 22, 1983, Robert married Donna DaCosta and on April 11 of that year they welcomed a baby girl, Camille Elliott. The following year, Donna and Camille joined Robert in Florida where they lived together as a family until Robert and Donna’s divorce seven years later. A few years later, Robert and Patricia rekindled their relationship and were married on April 7, 1995. On November 26, 2000, they welcomed their second child, Nickelle Elliott.

Robert treasured spending time with his grandchildren and was the proud grandfather of Fabian Lewis Jr., Javian Lewis, Mariah Lewis and Kyle Elliott. He was a devoted son to his mother Leneive and also leaves behind brothers: Rodney Stephenson and Jamie Elliott, and sisters: Olive Rowe, Claudette Elliott, Natalie Elliott and Laura Elliott, as well as countless friends.

Robert loved to cook and enjoy food with his friends and family. His favorite pastime was watching basketball, especially when the Miami Heat was playing.

Robert Elliott passed away at the age of 55 on the morning of June 2, 2014 at Jackson Memorial Ryder Trauma Center in Miami, Florida. Robert will be truly missed by all who knew him.
