Robert Dunn

Dunn, Robert Lee, 68, of Pompano Beach, FL, passed away on Sunday, March 11, 2012, surrounded by family and friends after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Xenia, Ohio, Bob moved to Ft. Lauderdale in 1969. He soon established Bob’s T-Birds, accumulating a collection of 1955-1957 T-Birds and becoming one of the largest suppliers of T-Bird parts and autos on the East Coast. In his spare time he loved to fish, travel, tell a good joke or story, and visit a long list of his favorite restaurants. Bob is survived by his loving wife, Irene, of 30 years, his sister, Karen Tanner, of Xenia, Ohio, and his nephew, Travis Tanner. He will also be missed by his three puppies, Buddy, Binky and Benny. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Holy Cross Hospital, 4725 N. Federal Highway, Ft. Lauderdale, Fl 33308, with a memo for the Bienes Cancer Center Cancer Research fund. A remembrance ceremony will be held on Thursday, March 15 from 4:30 – 8:30 PM at the Kraeer-Fairchild Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 4061 N. Federal Hwy., Fort Lauderdale, FL 33308.
