Nancy L Wood

Nancy Lou Dreisbach Wood went home to be with Jesus on February 19th, 2023, at the age of 84. Nancy was born to George and Maude Dreisbach on May 7th, 1938, in Barberton, Ohio. At the age of 9 years old, she moved with her father and older sister, Doris, to Miami, Florida. She graduated from Miami Jackson High School and went on to work for Florida, Power, and Light as a stenographer. She met her husband of 45 years, Lester Wood, in 1957 through friends at church. They were married on April 18th, 1958, and went on to have two daughters, Sandy in 1968 and Patty in 1971. In addition to being a loving wife and dedicated mother, Nancy held an unwavering faith in God, which she shared with those who surrounded her. Nancy joins her parents, George and Maude Dreisbach, her sister, Doris Markel, her brother-in-law, George Markel, and her husband, Lester Wood in Heaven.

She is survived by, her children, Sandy and Jeff Boyd and Patty and Larry Chan, grandchildren Alex and Cassie Boyd, Marcus and Kylie Chan, Seth Chan, Lauren and Cole Daniel, and great-grandchildren, Landon Boyd and Lili Chan.
