George Peter, age 57, of Davie, Florida passed away on Monday, January 3, 2022. George was born on Saturday, February 29, 1964 in Kerala, India.

George Peter was born in India, George Peter came to the United States at 24 years old. From there he started working as a chef in Hyatt hotel while also being a full time student at FIU. He graduated with his Bachelors of Science in Nursing in December of 1995. He graduated from FIU with his Masters in Science of Nursing in December of 2000. He then graduated from Chamberlain University with a Doctorate in Nursing Practice in March of 2015 Over the course of his life, George Peter accomplished many things. He was able to come to the United States with very little and work himself up into the successful man he was. He raised three children; Christopher Peter, Kevin Peter, and Elisha Peter.

He is well known to have been an outstanding professor at Broward College and regularly received praise from students and faculty alike. George was well known for leading financial discussions, as well as discussion regarding healthy eating and living. He was able to start and lead multiple successful businesses and give his children a better understanding of how to achieve financial freedom. Throughout his life, he was well known to be a hard worker; achieving anything he set his mind to and always looking for new tasks to accomplish. Despite his strong mental work attitude, he was also very humble and compassionate.

George is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Yves Rose Peter; sons, Christopher George Peter and Kevin George Peter; daughter, Elisha George Peter; brothers, Jhon Peter, K K Rajan, P. U. Abraham, and Dudray Paul; sisters, Presanna Varghese, Anie Rajan, Mary Abraham, Betty Aubourg, Myriame Bélizor and Magalie Paul; nephews, Peter T Lukose, Santhosh Varghese, Sanju M Varghese, Jitto Jhon, Jijo Jhon, Aji Rajan, Ludwig Aubourg, Marc Aubourg, Josny Thimotee, Riccardy Thimotee, Derrick Paul and Oatneal Sanon; nieces, Maya Laby, Arya Jayesh, Aarathy Abraham, Asha Rajan, Bethly Aubourg, Yardly Aubourg, Tatiana Paul, Danova Paul and Dudleen Paul.

A gathering of family & friends for George will be held on Saturday, January 22, 2022 from 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home South, 2401 Southwest 64th Avenue, Davie, Florida 33317.

Friends may visit the family one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Sunday, January 23, 2022 at 10:00 AM, 2401 Southwest 64th Avenue, Davie, Florida 33317. A funeral service will occur Sunday, January 23, 2022 at 11:00 AM, 2401 Southwest 64th Avenue, Davie, Florida 33317. A graveside service will occur Sunday, January 23, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens South, 2401 Davie Road, Davie, Florida 33317.

George will be dearly missed.
