Eva D. Isaacs aka Delorious (Dreamer) was born in Bottle Creek, North Caicos, Turks & Caicos Island on December 26, 1940, to Richard and Eliza Clarke, was married to Thomas Green, and had two sisters Pearl Clarke and Josephine Prosper whom all preceded her in death.
For many years Delorious lived in Freeport Bahamas, where she was deeply involved in the Gospel Ministry at Calvary Baptist Church; worked for British Fidelity Insurance and raised her children. In 1976, she moved to Providenciales, Turks and Caicos where she attended Pentecostal Baptist Church. Delorious was self-employed; she utilized her creative skills in Straw Weaving, and later owned and worked as a Beautician. In August 1993 she relocated to the United States to be closer to her children, and later got remarried. Delorious enjoyed being around her family, streaming gospel services, playing games such as dominoes and checkers, fishing, and watching her favorite Soap Operas. She loved dogs and was a wonderful mother.
Delorious was the strongest women you would have ever met. She was a fighter. Over the years she had several illnesses but endured dialysis for 15 years. In March 2023 she fell and since became bedridden. On Thursday, November 30, 2023, was her last dialysis treatment, and continued care was provided at her home. On Monday, December 4th, 2023, Delorious was admitted to the hospital. During her final days she was visited and comforted by all her loved ones who would sing, pray, and fellowship with her until the very end. On Friday, December 8, 2023, she lost her battle and quietly slipped away on the wings of an Angel to be with her Lord.
Delorious leaves to mourn her passing a loving husband Wilfred H. Isaacs; eight children: Absolom Green, Deniece Coleman (Neville), Petrice Wheeler, Alvirna Green, Paulamae Green-Saddler (Bruce), Bernadette Green, Eric Green, and Everette Green (Josephine), a stepdaughter Linda Green, twenty-two grandchildren, and sixteen Great Grand Children. She was also blessed with four stepchildren Julian Isaacs, Joanne Lawrence (Paul), Jennifer Isaacs and Jackie Isaacs, as well as a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 15, 2023 from 10:00 - 11:00 at the KRAEER - FAIRCHILD FUNERAL HOME, 4061 North Federal Highway, Fort Lauderdale. Eva's funeral service will commence immediately upon the conclusion of visitation. Interment will follow in Lauderdale Memorial Park.
