Betty Anne was born on May 20, 1963 in Brantford, Ontario. She was respected art teacher at both the Atikokan High School and the Fort Frances High School. She loved her job and students. She enjoyed doing arts and crafts, painting, and jewelry making. She was also a gourmet cook and enjoyed traveling.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband Geoffrey Stanger and her daughter Evelyn. Also surviving are her mother Anne (Harold) Bechtel of Cambridge, ON, brother Tom (Janet) Coulter of Fergus, ON, sister Laurie (Todd) Noakes of Waterloo, ON as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her father Andrew Coulter.
A celebration of Betty Anne’s life will be held on Thursday, April 25, 23013 at 5:00 p.m. at the Townsend Theatre in Fort Frances with Pastor Diane Clifford officiating.
