Bill was born on November 17, 1941 in Couchiching First Nation to Thomas and Helen Sinclair. He lived in Fort Frances all his life. He worked for CPR Railway, a local sawmill and as an orderly at Rainycrest but spent the majority of his career at the local paper mill as a papermaker. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion BR. 29, enjoyed time at the cabin and loved garage sales, baseball and hockey. He was an avid car enthusiast as well as a coin collector.
He leaves behind his wife Mary Ellen; children Kathi Tucker (Don) and their children Gregory, Amanda, Dana, Rod and Andrew, Brad Sinclair (Roberta), Mikel Sinclair (Brenda) and their sons Jordan and Brandon, Kari McLean (Kevin) and their children Rebecca, Daniel, Heather and Kari-Dawn, Nicole Sandelovich (Jim) and their children Jarid, Claire, Cole, Kamryn and Connor; numerous great grandchildren; siblings Delores Martin, Arthur Sinclair, Rose Hermer, Donna Lyons, Thomas Sinclair, John Sinclair and Carolyn Bracken; sister-in-law Margaret Gordon and numerous nieces and nephews.
Bill was predeceased by his parents Thomas and Helen; his shining star, granddaughter Lora Sinclair; in-laws Guy and Catherine Norris; son-in-law Sheldon Mosbeck; sister Noella Sinclair and in laws Bruce Lyons, Maida Sinclair, Joe Gordon, Garnet Catchpole, Oly Bracken and Glen Bruyere.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday March 12, 2020 from 11am until 1 p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion Br. 29 in Fort Frances, ON.
