Timothy William Larkin

On Thursday, July 6th, 2023, Timothy William Larkin, a beloved Husband and Father, passed away. He was Sixty-One years old. He is survived by his wife, Dawn Deval-Larkin, and son, Timothy Larkin, Jr. Tim was a loving son to Donald and Agnes Larkin (Hayes), son-in-law to Francis and Barbara Deval (Zawislak), loving brother to 9 siblings, cherished brother-in-law, beloved uncle and great-uncle to many nephews and nieces, cousin and friend to many. He will always be remembered for his loving heart, open mind, willingness to help anyone who needed guidance, and immense pride in all his loved ones.

Tim was a man with many incredible layers to his personality. He was always open to listen and give advice to anyone who needed it. He had an incredible ability to make everyone smile and laugh with his sometimes-unbelievable stories and jokes. He found pride in his work with his many jobs including, carpentry, roofing, snow plowing, and yard maintenance. He had an immense passion and knowledge of films, mainly of the western and sci-fi genres. Most days he could be found in his favorite place, his garage, watching his movies or golf.

Most importantly, Tim’s greatest source of pride came from his family. Tim dedicated 44 years of his life to his high school sweetheart, Dawn. They have one son, Tim, Jr., whom Tim spent 26 years ensuring had the best father possible.

It was Tim’s wish to have his life celebrated, and to have all loved ones remember all his beautiful moments and stories in life. Thus, the family will be hosting a Celebration of Life party on Sunday, July 23, 2023 at the Silver Lake Country Club in Orland Park, Illinois. The event will be from 3 PM - 7 PM, and will be an open house.
