Peter Milojevic

Milojevic, Peter 74 of Oak Park, Illinois passed away on April 3rd, 2023 following a 5 month battle with lung cancer. Peter was born in Lorrach Germany from where he immigrated to the United States as a child with his parents Golub and Berta. Pete is survived by his loving wife Susan; his siblings George, Elizabeth (Davis), Johanna (Nieto) and Veronica Milojevic. He will be missed dearly by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews of both sides of the family.

He was drafted and served in the United States Army from 1967 - 1969 fighting in Vietnam. In 1970 Peter married Susan Dziekan in Chicago, Illinois. He was a lifelong Harley Davidson Motorcycle rider taking many long trips thru the U.S., Mexico and Italy. He was an active member of the Illinois Route 66 H.O.G Chapter and previously belonged to LAMA - Latin American Motorcycle Association. Pete was active in the Robert E. Coulter, Jr. post of the American Legion where he served as the Sergeant at Arms.

Friends and family will gather for a visitation that will take place on Tuesday, April 11th, 2023 from 11 am - 2 pm. With the presentation of Military Honors promptly at 1:30pm located at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 7750 West Cermak Road, Forest Park, Illinois, 60130.
