Gregory Lamont Brown came into this world May 20th, 1958. He was born with a medical condition that his parents, Emma Alberta Brown & L.T. Brown couldn't get a handle on, while also raising 4 of his siblings and working 12-hour shifts. Emna A. & L.T. Brown eventually had 7 children in total.
Viola & Peter Griggs (Grandparents) extended their hands to Emma & L.T. Brown and took control of this medical crisis. While in their care in Redland, Arkansas, Gregory's health vastly improved. The decision was made that Viola & Peter Griggs would become his caretakers.
Throughout the years, Viola & Peter Griggs instilled discipline & obedience into Gregory. This gave him a can-do will-do disposition. As a youth, Gregory attended G.C. Johns Lower & Upper Elementary Schools. Gregory advanced to Eudora High School. There he formed a burgeoning bond with Irma Keith.
After graduation, Gregory enlisted himself into the U.S. Army on June 22nd, 1979. Gregory excelled there to the ranks of Master Drill Sergeant during his 13 Years of service in the U.S. Army.
Gregory's next achievement came when he was hired as a Bus Operator for Metro Bus Co. in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He was employed there for almost 30 years.
Forced into retirement due to health reasons, Gregory soldiered on to Eudora, Arkansas along with Irma Keith at his side. It is there where his fate was finally sealed. On December 6th, 2024, in Greenville, Mississippi at Delta Regional Hospital, Gregory Lamont Brown (G-Man) transcended. He's preceded in death by his parents, his caretakers, Lawrence Thomas Brown (Brother) of Las Vegas, Nevada, and Mary Helen Pearson (Sister) of Las Vegas, Nevada. He leaves to cherish Hellener Brown-Holland (Sister), Beverly Diane Willis (Sister), Rodney Kevin Brown (Brother), and Darryl Keith Brown (Brother). Gregory has 9 nephews and 10 nieces whom he cherished and they, in turn, respected him.
