Marjorie Terri Lieberman, 88, died peacefully Friday December 13, 2024, in Sarasota, Florida. Born on February 27, 1936 in Brooklyn, New York, Marjorie led a life filled with a love for the arts and for her family and friends. She married Theodore Herbert Lieberman in 1956, and the two lived for many years on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, on a country farm in the Berkshires in Western Massachusetts, and on Long Boat Key, Florida. Over her life, Marjorie worked as both a teacher and a realtor, and spent many years volunteering for various causes. Marjorie was a devotee of classical music, and a long-time patron, benefactor and volunteer at Tanglewood in Lenox, MA. After Herbert passed in 2002, Marjorie met Sam Seager and they happily spent over 15 years together both in Florida and in the Berkshires. Known for her wry sense of humor, Marjorie will be dearly missed by her many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Donations in Marjorie’s memory can be made to Tanglewood at the BSO.org.
