He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Thelma, his sons and daughters in law Steven and Stacey, Doug and Michele, and Rob and Denise, and grandchildren Zachary, Alexa, Dylan, Austin and Sara.
He was a retired teacher, photographer and a world traveler. After retirement, he did volunteer work for the Israeli Defense Forces and Mended Hearts. He proudly served in the United States Air Force, was a licensed electrician, and he earned his PhD in Education from NYU. He was still angry about the Dodgers leaving Brooklyn and became a Mets fan because that team from the Bronx was not his cup of tea.
