On behalf of the entire team at the Cradle of Aviation Museum, I extend our deepest condolences on the passing of  Kenneth Newman. We are deeply saddened to hear of his passing, and our thoughts are with you and your loved ones as you navigate through this period of loss. 
 
Kenneth's presence at our museum was truly invaluable. His dedication and passion for aviation were evident in every interaction he had, whether it was as a gallery docent or during his time serving as a council member. His knowledge, kind personality, and infectious smile left a lasting impression on all who had the pleasure of knowing him. He will be greatly missed by all of us here at the museum.

Kenneth Newman passed away on February 22, 2024 at 94 years of age. 

During his full and rich life, he proved himself a  renaissance man and a world traveler. He was an artist and historian with an unparalleled understanding of the world around him. 

Ken endured many losses over his lifetime including the loss of his parents, his wife, his daughter, his brother, his granddaughter, and his nephew.  Yet through it all, he  maintained a positive outlook on life and the world around him. 

By example, Ken taught those who were lucky enough to know him the qualities of tolerance, charity and wisdom.  The world is a better place, because of his influence and his accomplishments. 

He is survived by his son Martin, his daughter-in-law, Gladys and his grandchildren Rebecca, Sofia, and Ava who will all miss him greatly.
