Thomas J. McKenna

Beloved husband of the late Sheila. Loving father of Thomas (Christine) McKenna, Kevin McKenna, Matthew (Stephanie) McKenna, and Kerry Garone. Cherished grandfather of Brendan, Ryan, Sophia, Matthew, Isabella, and Joseph. Thomas was a devoted family man who always put his loved ones first. Devoted son of the late Thomas and Florence McKenna and dear brother of Billy, Dolores and Margaret and the late Florence, Mary, Joseph, Frank, Ann and John. Thomas was a United States Veteran for the Navy, proud to serve our country. He dedicated is career as a Surveyor for International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 15 for 40 plus years. He was known for his hardworking nature, never complaining and always giving his best. A die-hard Mets fan, his love for his family and passion for baseball were a defining part of his life.

The family of Thomas J.McKenna will be receiving visitors on Monday, January 6, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Quinn Fogarty Funeral Home, 192-15 Northern Boulevard, Flushing, NY 11358. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, at 9:45 AM at St. Kevin's RC Church, 45-21 194th St, New York, NY 11358. An interment will follow at Mount St. Mary Cemetery, 172-00 Booth Memorial Ave, New York, NY 11365.
