Mary Ann Schillinger, 87, passed away peacefully on September 22nd. Forever remembered as a loving Mother by her daughter, Kathleen Caridi and her husband Frank, and her son, Robert Schillinger and his wife Karen. She will be missed by her cherished grandchildren Kristen, Christopher, Robert, and Alexa, and her great grandchildren, Eleanor, Gus, Sophie, and Adonia.
Mary Ann’s love and respect for people was evident in her several years of volunteer work at St. Francis Hospital. She loved to cook and bake for her family, and she enjoyed playing bingo and cards with her friends. She will be forever missed and eternally loved.
A memorial service will be held at Mount St. Mary Cemetery, 172-00 Booth Memorial Avenue, Flushing, on October 14th beginning at 10:45am; meet at the main office. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
