Elvira "Vera" Mehran

Elvira, known affectionately as "Vera," was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Mehran. She was a loving mother to her children, Alex (Michelle Mehran), Barbara Abruzzo, Robert (Theresa) Mehran, and Joe (Beth) Mehran. Vera was the cherished grandmother of Alex Jr. (AnnMarie) Mehran, Jaclyn (Louis Bolkovic) Mehran-Bolkovic, Christopher Mehran, Nicolas Mehran, Robert (Lauren) Mehran, Deena (Michele) Mehran-Riccio,Ashley Dimarco, Danielle Eldridge, Joseph Mehran, Rachel (Eric) Sitman, Rebecca (Corte) Raevsky, and Emma (Brett) Paul. She was also a devoted great-grandmother to Savanna, Nico, Gio, Anthony, Robert, Blake, Christianna, Antonio, and Bella.

Vera was known for her loving heart and kindness. She never spoke a bad word about anyone and was beloved by all who knew her. A woman of great tradition, Vera found joy in spending time with her cherished family. She will always be remembered for her warmth, her gentle nature, and her unwavering love for those around her.

A visitation for Elvira will be held on Sunday, March 23, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Monday, March 24, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home located at 192-15 Northern Boulevard, Flushing, NY 11358. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at 9:45 AM at St. Kevin's RC Church, 45-21 194th St, Flushing, NY 11358. An entombment will follow at Mount St. Mary Cemetery, 172-00 Booth Memorial Ave, New York, NY 11365.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
