Richard Joseph Boike, age 72, of Flint, died Saturday, November 28, 2020, at his home. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Charmaine; his four children: Nathaniel Bauer, Arlene Boike, Katherine Boike, and Logan Boike; his sister, Louise; and his brother, Norman.
Richard was born August 10, 1948, in Flint, the son of Mr. & Mrs. Peter and Julia (Kaczmarek) Boike. He met Charmaine Bennett through a mutual friend, and the two started dating, fell in love, and were married on August 28, 1999. Richard worked as a manager at Clark Gas Station until his retirement. In his free time, Richard enjoyed sitting by the fire in his backyard, watching the birds on his swing, and taking day trips with his family. He will be greatly missed.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Peter and Julia; his brother, Leroy; his sister, Theresa; and his brother-in-law, Donald.
In accordance with Richard’s wishes, cremation has taken place. No public services have been scheduled.
