Helen Marie Burgess

BURGESS, HELEN MARIE (11/29/1947 - 01/07/2019) of Flushing Michigan has passed away quietly in her sleep at home.  She leaves behind two daughters; Angela Allen of Fort Smith, AR and Andalynn Burgess Castells (Paul Castells) of Arlington Virginia.  Surviving are six grandchildren: Anthony Leggins (Denver, CO), Jonathon Allen (Fayetteville, AR), Christopher Allen (Flint, MI), Evelyn Castells, Theodore Castells and Elizabeth Castells (Arlington, VA).  Two great grandchildren: Micah Leggins (McCallister, OK) and Alice Gibson (Flint, MI); Sister Carol Kimsel (Paul Kimsel) of Lennon, MI and life long best friend Janet Bourgeois (Flint, MI); also several nieces, nephews & friends. She was so proud to be a Michigan Mom to all the Sunday kids.  "Enjoy making and sharing your own Sunday stories with your own families each week around the table." Her special wish to all those who remember her is to remember her with laughter.  A she always said, "If you can't remember me with laughter, than don't remember me at all.  I've had a good ride!" Memorial Service to be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, Helen has asked that donations be made to St. Jude's. Arrangements by the Reigle Funeral Home. 5501 W.
