Heather Fay Parks

On the morning of Tuesday, November 24th, 2020, Heather Fay Parks, loving mother, daughter, and sister passed away at the young age of 43 in Houghton Lake, Michigan. Heather was born on May 21, 1977 in Gratiot County, MI, to Cynde and Charles Thompson.

She received her GED through Houghton Lake Community Education, and attended some college at Kirtland Community College. On August 30th, 1996 Heather married James John Parks, Jr. They started their life together and raised their children shortly after. beginning with son, Zachary Guy Parks and later on.... their two daughters, Autumn Alexis Parks and Sierra Morgan Parks. Heather and James later separated in March of 2014.

Heather had a passion for learning and playing the guitar, and going fishing with family and friends. She also enjoyed chatting with her family and friends, listening to music, and coloring beautiful pictures.

She was known for her witty and yet dirty sense of humor, infectious smile, and her huge kind heart.

Heather is survived by her three children: son, Zachary Parks, daughter Autumn Parks, and daughter Sierra Parks; father, Charles Thompson (Victoria Radenbough); mother, Cynde Rogers; sisters, Jenifer (Landon) Sanders and Jamie Marcum.

A memorial for Heather will be held at a later date with the location and information to come.
