Carole Jean Tibbetts

TIBBETTS, CAROLE JEAN (Barron), age 76, died peacefully at home Saturday, December 7, 2024. Funeral Services will be 11:00 am Friday, December 13, 2024 at Reigle Funeral Home, 5501 W. Pierson Road, Flushing, MI 48433. Deacon Ron Kenney officiating. Interment at Great Lakes National Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 2:00 – 8:00pm with a Rosary at 7:00pm. Carole was born October 18, 1948 in Flint, MI the daughter of Joseph and Mildred (Simmons) Barron. She married the love of her life Frederick Tibbetts on June 10, 1967.

Carole worked as a hospice nurse for many years and when she retired, she was able to pursue her other passion, antiques. She opened 2 Sisters Antique Mall with her sister and loved all things old and vintage. Carole enjoyed playing games, going to the casino, thrifting and spending time with her family.

Surviving are children; Joseph (Rebecca) Tibbetts of Davison, Thomas (Susan) Tibbetts of Flushing, Julie (Troy) Miller of Clio and Andrea (Michael) Johnson of Pellston, grandchildren; Bryna, Adam, Megan, Emily, Keon, Christina, Randi and Cody, great grandchild Paityn, sisters; Barbara Trimble of Burton and Heidi (Dave) Richards-Dingman of Middleville, brother-in-law David (Kathy) Tibbetts of Flushing. Preceded in death by her husband, her parents, sisters; Judy Weber and Cindy Fournier.

In memory of Carole, contributions may be made to Special Educator, Dawn Lindstrom and her classroom in honor of Carole's grandson Adam…… Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
