It is with profound sorrow that we mourn the passing of our beloved Patriarch William “Bill” LoDico. The love and devotion he gave his family was second to none. He was a loving and devoted Husband to his wife, Vicky, a loving Father to his seven children, Thomas Piluso, Lynn Neal (Jeff), Billy, Scott, Diana Piluso, Chris (Krista) and Dana. He was a proud and loving Grandfather to 16 Grandchildren and 9 Great-grandchildren. Bill proudly served his Country in the US Army, was a decorated NYPD officer for 21 years, first serving on NY’s Tactical Patrol Force for 7 years in his early career, and then upon his retirement from the NYPD he spent the next 17 years as a State Gaming Inspector for the Casino Control Commission. Upon his retirement in 2002 he moved to Florida and joined several organizations, including the Blue Knights Chapter XX, The Florida Gun and Archery Club, The Elks and The Flagler Sports Fishing Club. He loved being a participant and meeting new people. His favorite pastimes included fishing, sailing and riding his motorcycle. His kindness and empathy reverberated throughout all of this actions and interactions with both friends and those who became family. Unfortunately, in 2015 he was diagnosed with cancer, and as he fearlessly fought and endlessly edured, his battled reached its end. Rest in peace, we love you to the moon and back. We will miss you forever and always. Your loving family. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Stuart F. Meyer Hospice House in Palm Coast, FL. Or The Blue Knights Florida Chapter XX.
