John Francis Conklin 86 of Flagler Beach passed away on May 18, 2020 in Advent Health, Palm Coast. He was born in the Bronx, NY on December 23, 1933 a son of the late John Francis and Margaret Hampton Conklin. A retired methods analyst for AT&T, Mr. Conklin had resided in Flagler Beach since 1996. He attended St. Mary’s Catholic Church and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and hiking the Appalachian Trail. He was a veteran serving in the US Army. Surviving are his wife of 62 years, Josephine (McMullan) Conklin, his son John William Conklin of Yorktown Heights NY, two daughters, Kathleen Corrao and her husband Michael of Hopewell Junction NY, and Maureen Strong of Putnam Valley NY twelve grandchildren and four great grandchildren and a sister, Carol Kern of Columbia SC. Services will be held later date in NY. Arrangements are in the care and trust of Craig-Flagler Palms Funeral Home
