Geraldine “Gerri” Marino, aged 73, of Flagler Beach, Florida, passed away on May 15, 2023, at home. She was surrounded by love and her family. Gerri was born on January 31, 1950, in New York, New York to the late Jeremiah and Roseanne Buckley (O’Brien). Gerri worked for Tee Times USA for twenty years until she retired in 2014.
Gerri was passionate about giving back to the community and helping people in need. Gerri was affectionately known for her unique charm, quick wit, and unwavering loyalty to those she called family or dear friends. Gerri had the ability to see the goodness in people who were struggling when others may have given up. She possessed a very giving heart and was a great human being.
Gerri loved spending time on Flagler Beach reading, people watching or just enjoying the beauty of the ocean. She decided to take up crafting during her illness and made balls of yarn in many colors. She called these creations, “Gerri’s Balls”. She kept her amazing sense of humor to the end.
