Charles Hoffmann, 88 of Palm Coast, FL passed away March 5, 2018 peacefully at home with his wife and family by his side. He was born in Brooklyn New York, raised in Long Island, and lived with his family in Woodbridge, VA for over thirty years. Survivors include his wife of thirty-three years, Carolyn Hoffmann. Sons Thomas Hoffmann of Waxahachie, TX and Roger Dankel of McKinney, TX, daughters Mary K Smith, of Louisville, CO, Pam Smith of Lithia, FL and Cathy Jones of Nokesville, VA. Sixteen grandchildren include: Sidney Gallaway, Matt Hoffmann, Corbin and Emery Smith, Nick Dankel, Stephanie Pflederer, Alexis, Madie, Peyton, and Jensen Smith, Ethan, Brady, and Erin Jones, Erin and Zack Knight and Hannah Barber. He is also survived by his twin brother, Tom Hoffmann of Palm Coast, FL and many wonderful nieces and nephews. Charlie proudly served in the Army during the Korean war and retired from the federal government in 1994.
