Carol F. Smith of Fayetteville, WV passed away on January 2nd 2021 after a hard fight against Covid.
She is survived by her husband of over 56 years, Richard A. Smith; her four children Richard Jr., Timothy, Lee and Holly; three grandchildren Richard III, Justin and Cassidy; and two brothers, Pete Zapotocky of PA and John Zapotocky of FL.
Carol was truly considered a pillar of the community, spending the majority of her tenure at Fayetteville High School. Her family will miss her strength, kindness, love and laughter. May her light continue to shine through her family and all that were fortunate enough to know her.
Private services will be determined by her family at a later date.
